Nathan Booth serves as the Director of Construction at Summit Construction Company. With more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry, Nathan has the ability to lead teams, analyze complex project requirements, review drawings and specs, and manage budgets. He is a creative problem solver and excels at developing and managing successful construction projects. Nathan has focused mainly on the hospital construction market managing difficult situations that require strategic coordination and scheduling between hospital departments, subcontractors, and architects.
Nathan has successfully managed dozens of projects of different sizes on a yearly basis. He prioritizes having a team mentality with all people on every project to ensure open and honest communication. His fair but firm approach has resulted in trusting relationships with local subcontractors and repeat business with clients. He provides an uplifting environment for all his projects and is quick to negate actions and conflicts that would hinder the successful completion of this projects. He is highly organized and detail-oriented with extensive knowledge of construction management and project management. He continually seeks new ways to improve management expertise, enhance team experience, boost company morale and improve overall team focus.
Nathan was previously the safety manager for Summit Construction and has developed the safety culture that is continuosly being improved throughout the company today. In 2018, he received the SANEO Safety Excellence Award for improvement of Summit safety culture. He has set standards within the company to successfully grow and maintain a safe work environment for all people to enter the project site with the understanding that there will always be room for improvement.
