Summit Construction provided general contracting services for the Akron Children's Hospital Coffee Kiosk project. The project included the installation of a robotic coffee kiosk, modified walls and artwork, a mural relocation, and the conversion of an adjacent restroom into a kitchenette to accommodate the functions of the kiosk.
Challenges arose when the weight of the kiosk posed risks of damage to the floor. Summit quickly resolved these issues to prevent any damage, while maintaining the aesthetic and function of the kiosk.
Summit worked closely with Wheeler Boltz Architecture and the Akron Children's staff to bring this new and exciting coffee kiosk to ACH safely and efficiently.
