Summit Construction was hired by Akron Children's Hospital to complete the renovation of the hospital's fluoroscopy rooms. Summit's role for these renovations included demolition, installation of new hvac and exhaust ventilation, installation of new piping on separate zones for each room, new electrical feeds, devices and LED lights, new flooring, casework, ceilings and paint.
The schedule for the fluoroscopy rooms were condensed into a 4 week schedule vs a 6 week schedule and were completed with no disruptions to the normal function and flow of the hospital.
The new equipment, updated lighting and hvac allowed for a more suitable and productive environment for employees of Akron Children's to do their important work.
