Due to the longstanding relationship with Akron Children's Hospital, Summit Construction was brought in on short notice to complete the renovation of four patient rooms in the teenage/adolescent wing of the hospital. Summit's scope of services for this project included managing and coordinating work with the hospital, setting up infection control barriers and scheduling work strategically around patient and staff schedules.
These patient rooms are not just your typical hospital rooms. Special features such as multi-screen televisions, Xbox systems and surround sound, have been added to these rooms to give the patients a better time and experience in the hospital.
Summit's ability to adapt and take on this project has helped the hospital and patients get these four special rooms that they have been waiting for.
