With the Oil and Gas boom in Eastern Ohio, there was a great need for an extended stay hotel in the region. So in 2015, Summit Construction completed the 53,000 SF. 5-Story, 72 room Candlewood Suites extended stay hotel. It has a exterior pool, fitness center, and a complete guest laundry. The extended stay hotel provides guests the with comforts of home while being away on business or travel. All rooms included their own kitchenette complete with dishwasher, refrigerator, cooktop, and disposal. This allowed workers to be able to have something more suitable than the average hotel room.
Summit Construction acted as the Construction Manger At-Risk and provided the owner with a lump sum cost and delivery of the project. The Team also worked with the owner, A/E, and all the subcontractors which built a great relationship for the duration of the project. Candlewood is pleased with the worked we created due to a previous Construction Manager falling through.
