The new, three-story Jennings Community Learning Center was built north of the existing school along Dayton Street. The modern look of the exterior includes glass and masonry and features a two-story atrium allowing light to flow into the lower level. The lower level includes a gym, student dining room, music room and mechanical spaces. It also houses classrooms, a media center, art rooms and administrative offices. The second floor contains regular classrooms and life-skill labs.
The new Community Learning Center includes stone medallions and a stone "surround" from the west entry of the old Jennings Middle School to give the school a fun and unique design.
