Summit Construction was selected to provide CMR services for Lancaster City School District's New Baseball Field Facility. The project included a new baseball and temporary softball facility with a press box. The facility consists of one varsity baseball field with a turfed infield, one softball field, a two-story press box with restroom facilities beneath, two batting tunnels, and an expanded parking lot for the facilities.
SCC provided CMR services including supervision of subcontractors and management of day-to-day activities.
Construction for the new baseball field facility took place on an occupied site, adjacent to a fully occupied transportation and maintenance facility, as well as a park and recreational pathway along the river with a constant flow of pedestrians. Summit was able to complete this project safely, efficiently, and without disruption to the regular activities surrounding the site.
