Summit Construction was selected to provide CMR services for the MetroHealth Ohio City Health Center on campus of Urban Community School (Cletus Jeckering Family Health Center at UCS). The 32,000 SF, 2-story health center will provide care for students of UCS and the surrounding community.

MetroHealth Ohio City Health Center was 'Phase 1' of a multi-phase project on the UCS Campus, which included demolition of existing properties, site stabilization via Rammed Aggregate Piers, multiple utility packages and a ground up building.  Both phases (Phase 2 Early Childhood Education Center at UCS) consist of structured steel buildings with metal framed exterior and were/will be delivered turn key ready to the Owner.

Founded by the Ursuline Sisters of Cleveland, UCS is a Catholic tradition school enrolling children from low income families at or below the poverty level.  The MetroHealth and UCS partnership will create greater access to healthcare and health programs for UCS students in close proximity to their school and weekday activities.

“Initially, services will include primary care, pediatrics, behavioral health, a Hispanic Culture Health Clinic and a new service, MetroExpressCare, offering non-emergency room treatment for urgent health issues." - MetroHealth and Urban Community School to partner, July 30, 2018 - metrohealth.org

Summit Consruction is proud to serve Urban Community School's Construction Management needs since 2005.
