Summit Construction was selected to provide Construction Manager at-Risk services for the restoration of the historic NASA K & L Buildings - formerly the The Development Engineering Building & Annex or "DEB" which played a major role in U.S. space exploration.
The Historic Tax Credits project includes the restoration of the three-story L-Building which was transformed into a 59 unit boutique hotel called the Orbit, a Trademark Collection by Wyndham Hotel.
While the building was remodeled with new interior finishes, mep, walls, flooring and more, many of the historic building's original elements remain to preserve historic integrity.
