Summit Construction Company provided Construction Manager at Risk and General Contracting Services for the Osborn Engineering East End TI Project. The project delivery included an 1,800 SF build out of the second floor space in their existing building to meet the needs of the new clients and tenants.
SCC was responsible for facilitating all aspects of construction, developing bid packages, contracting all subcontractors, coordinating with owner’s requirements and needs, using quality and budget control measures, scheduling and supervising all work. SCC also worked with a bridge document architect to bring the design into the construction phase of the project.
The SCC team benefited the client by being able to efficiently work while permitting and drawing revisions that were concurrently under review. This allowed the project turn over to occur 6 weeks in advance all while being under budget. Furthermore, the close coordination of existing mechanical and electrical systems allowed for a seamless transition to the new tenant space.
