The University of Akron needed a new and improved recreation center to accommodate the growing student population in the early 2000’s. The SCC team was selected through a competitive bid process to become the lead general trades firm performing the services for the exterior wall system, interior finishes, climbing wall, pool amenities, varsity locker room amenities and specialty recreation center finishes.
Through the dedication and hard work of the SCC team, the Stile Athletics Field House and Student Recreation Center, is not only one of the finest indoor facilities in the region, but also among the best in the United States.
