Summit Construction continued its role as the construction manager for the Akron Summit County Public Library (ASCPL) branch extension program for this project. The new West Hill Library branch is located in the Highland Square area and was built at the site of the previous branch. While working with owner and architect, behind the scenes activities included program review and implementation, site feasibility study, constructability reviews, budget analysis and bid process. 

The building is a single story slab-on-grade with structural steel and metal studs, brick veneer with storefront glazing, and a tower at the children's area. The interior finishes consisted of painted drywall, acoustic wall fabric, ceramic tile flooring and wall covering, exposed painted ceiling structure, acoustic ceilings, and various casework items.
